BBC英语一分钟: So和Such的用法区别

So vs Such

So和Such的用法区别

Hello, everyone! I'm Sam from BBC Learning English. And today, we're going to look at the difference between "so" and "such".

大家好,我是BBC英语学习的萨姆.今天我们来学习 "so" 和 "such"之间的区别。

To make a adjective stronger, we use so.

so用于增强形容词的语气。

For example: Michael is so nice.

例如:迈克尔人很好。

We use "such" when we want to make an "adjective + a noun" stronger.

要增强“形容词+名词”句式的语气时用such.

For example: Michael is such a nice person.

例如:迈克尔这个人真是太好了。

For this reason, it's not correct to say: Michael is so nice person!(?) Because we have the adjective "nice" and the noun "person" together.

所以,这么说是不对的:Michael is so nice person!(?)因为这句话中同时出现了形容词"nice"和名词"person".

It's so simple, right?

很简单,对吧?
