A：So,you have three days off. What are you going to do?
B： I don’t know. Probably I’m just going to hang around here and relax.
B：Not just TV. I will probably rent some movies. I’ll order some pizzas. Just relax.
B： Huh? What do you mean “pathetic”？ What’s wrong with it?
A： Spending three days like that is a kind of vegetable life. You should have better recreation than TV.
B： Yeah? Like what?
A： You should get out of the house. Go out into nature. Or you should learn to play an instrument or something. But just sitting here and watching TV—that’s idiotic. You are wasting your life. When you are older, you will have no memories. Your whole life will be all TV.
B ： What do you do on weekends?
A: Well，this weekend Mary and I are going to a wine-tasting on Saturday. And you know I’m in a golf club. Probably I’ll do some practice on Sunday. And maybe I'll do some windsurfing with my friend Lucy on Sunday or Monday. But the weather might not be good,so I don't know.
B： And you think all that is better than watching TV?
A ： Of course. For one thing, it requires some movement. For another, I do those things with my husband or my friends. There is some activity together. That's what the weekend should be. Not just sitting in front of a screen. Sometimes I think TV is a kind of parasite. It attaches to people's brains.and sucks away their lives.
A:那当然。
B:I don’t know. I don't watch much TV during the So I think it’s ail right on the weekend, days.
A:But three days. You have three days here. You should have some better plans.
B: I’ll think about it.
